Do you provide hot meals to children?
Meals are provided 4 times a day, including a hot lunch.
What are the hours of operation? Does the center close for any holidays?
We're closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day , Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Memorial Day Labor Day, Christmas Day
Is the your staff trained to administer medications?

Will Children's Land provide a safe and secure environment for my child?
At Children's Land, your child’s safety is our primary concern.

Here are just a few examples of the measures we take to keep your child safe.

  • Our security system uses security cameras and observation windows to ensure safety.
  • Our security system also allows our staff instant access to your child’s medical information, arrival and departure times, and the names of people authorized for drop-off and pick-up.
  • An exclusive electronic access system allows only authorized personnel admittance into our building(s).
  • The safety of your child extends to the regular monitoring of facilities and equipment, such as our child-sized tables that are “non-tippable” to prevent any injuries while playing and many more child-proof items.
How does the center maintain a clean and healthy environment for children?
We sets and adhere to high standards of cleanliness. Disinfecting cleaning solutions are used for all bathrooms and diaper changing stations. Staff is trained to keep children healthy using techniques discouraging the spread of germs such as proper hand washing skills.
May I visit the center during the day?
Yes – Parents and other primary family members are encouraged to visit the center and to meet their child’s teachers and friends.
What are the educational levels of your teachers?
Our teachers are CPR and child first-aid certified. Infant, explorer and toddler teachers have a minimum of a CDA (Childhood Development Associate) Certificate. Preschool teachers have a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education college credits. Teachers increase their early childhood development skills through continuing educational classes, seminars and workshops, which are age-appropriate for the children they care for and educate.
Are you a state licensed center?
Yes – We are a state licensed center.
What types of communication will I have with the center regarding my child?
Each morning at drop-off parents will have the opportunity to speak with their child’s teacher and transfer any important information regarding their child. Throughout the day parents are welcome to contact the center to see how their child is doing. Each parent will also receive a Daily Contact Sheet at pick-up, which outlines their child’s daily activities.
Who can pick my child up?
Parents may pick up their children or authorize others to pick up. Alternate pick-up persons will need proof of proper identification.
What is the difference between Learning Center vs Home Care Center?
1. Our teachers are required to have a college degree.
2. At Learning Center children are organized together by age groups.
